President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan and the Speaker if the House of Representatives have commiserated with Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko over the death of his daughter, Sadiya.
Lawan described the tragic death of Sadiya at a tender age as painful but urged Senator Wamakko to take solace in the fact that Allah gives and takes as He wills.
“I share in your grief and pray that Allah will give you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“I also commiserate with the government and people of Sokoto state who are mourning with you over the unfortunate incident and pray that Allah will console them,” Lawan said.
In the same vein, Gbajabiamila described the passing away of Sadiya as painful, adding that he shared in the grief of the Wamakko family at this moment.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, the Speaker prayed for the repose of the soul of Wamakko’s daughter.
“My heart and prayers go to the family of Distinguished Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
“It is painful losing one’s daughter. I pray that Allah (SWT) will grant her soul Jannatul Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear this huge loss,” the Speaker said.
