**Hedi sirika, minister of Aviation, says lagos state deserves another airport due its fast growing business and entertainment ranking in Africa. He was in lagos where he handed over the certification and approval to governor Babajide to commence the construction of the airport, to be sited in Ibeju lekki, area of lagos.
** Still on Airports, Ekiti state unveiled its agro airport last week, a good governance gift from immediate former governor of Ekiti state, Dr kayode fayemi. Hidi Sirika, minister of Aviation was on hand at the unveiling to rejoice with the Ekiti nation.

** Central Bank of Nigeria, is set to democratise the electronic naira usage across Nigeria as about 7,740 agents , ten in each 744 local government area, will drive its evangelism.
** The flood ravaging the country is said to have swallowed about 603 persons, and 2 million displaced. The aftermath implications on those who may survive this havoc are yet to be ascertained. From Kogi to Anambra, Delta, Bayelsa and Rivers states , the deluge also has its impact on food security as farm lands, livestocks and fish farms were all swept away. A threat that May visit Nigeria with food scarcity next year. Infrastructures like roads, bridges, telecom facilities, sick bays and hospitals were also affected. Indeed camps of Internally Displaced Persons had sprang up in those affected states of Nigeria with little or no relief materials deployed to assist the flood victims. It is Nigeria’s biggest flood disaster in recent times.

The late Chief John Udeagbala was a former Permanent Secretary/ Director General (Special Duties) Governor’s Office, Old Anambra State from 1988-1989, Ag. Secretary to Enugu State Government December 1990, Ag. Deputy Governor, Enugu state and Chairman, Enugu state Civil Service Commission from 1999-2009. Chief John Udeagbala will be buried on Thursday, 17th November after a church service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oji River L.G.A in Enugu state.
