Jigawa governor appoints NANTA Vice President as Special Assistant on Renewable Energy

Mallam Umar Namadi, governor of jigawa State, has appointed Nasir chamo , Vice President, and Northern Zone of National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies ( Nanta) as a Special Assistant on Renewable Energy.

Chamo, who holds a first and second degree in business administration from the famous Bayero University, kano, is also the National Secretary, Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria.

Going by the new appointment, Nasir Chamo, who is tested grassroots politician who has dedicated himself to ensuring the success of his party in jigawa State, will help the governor to drive the implementation of his plans to supply the state with cost effective energy, particularly for the advancement of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, utilizing the state’s abundant renewable energy resources such as wind , hydro, biomass ( organic and human waste) and solar.

Chamo promised to bring his vast knowledge in human resources management and connections in the travel world where renewable energy is playing critical roles to bridge infrastructural gaps in power supply systems to bear on his new appointment.
