It is with a profound sense of loss that we remember Madam Tess, a towering figure in the world of tourism, whose recent passing has left an indelible void. As a former president of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA), Madam Tess’s legacy is etched in the annals of Nigeria’s tourism industry.
Her contributions to the promotion and development of tourism in Nigeria were unparalleled. Under her visionary leadership, NANTA flourished, fostering stronger ties within the industry and elevating Nigeria’s profile on the global tourism stage. Madam Tess’s passion for tourism was evident in every endeavor she undertook, but her work with the Durbar in Kano remains particularly unforgettable. She recognized the cultural and historical significance of this grand festival and tirelessly promoted it, ensuring that the world could witness and appreciate the rich traditions of Kano.
A tribute to our industry Amazon, Mrs Tereza Ojo.
As we bid farewell to Madam Tess, we celebrate a life well-lived, dedicated to the service of others and the promotion of Nigeria’s cultural heritage. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, and her contributions will continue to shape the future of tourism in Nigeria for generations to come.
Rest in peace, Madam Tess. Your legacy lives on.
