The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) will join other industry stakeholders to celebrate World Tourism Day in Uyo, hosted by Akwa Ibom state governor, Pastor Umo Eno.The association will also use the opportunity to officially announce its record back to back solo appearance and participation as a Nigerian tourism centric exhibitor at the prestigious global tourism and travel trade market (WTM) in London, united kingdom for the third time.
The NANTA powered Nigerian exhibition marks a significant opportunity to highlight Nigeria’s diverse travel experiences, and NANTA is excited to lead this initiative on the world stage.
The NANTA Nigerian Team at WTM 2024 will be led by NANTA’s Immediate Past President Mrs Susan Akporiaye and the association’s National First Deputy president, Pastor Mrs Chinyere Umeasiegbu. Both women, together with the President of the Association Mr Yinka Folami, and NANTA publicity secretary, mrs. Lola Adewole,
are passionate advocates for the growth of Nigeria’s cultural tourism and travel trade industry.
As part of NANTA’s ongoing efforts to promote Nigerian tourism, the trio including members of NANTA’s WTM core technical promotion team made up of Mrs Uloma Ibiwari KemaBonta, will be joining Mrs Shalom Asuquo-Ankoh and Mrs Faith Essien and other members of the core wtm team based in Akwa Ibom state to attend the NANTA Eastern Zone rotational meeting scheduled for September 26th to 28th, 2024 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
During this strategic educational visit, the focus will be on Akwa Ibom State, a rising star in Nigeria’s tourism landscape, including meetings with other cultural tourism and travel trade stakeholders from Cross River as well.
