Hon kolawole Davidson Akinlayo the Newly Appointed Chairman Nigeria South Korea Friendship Parliamentary Group, on behalf of the Leadership of House of Representatives expressed heartfelt condolences to South Korean government and the families of the victims of the tragic Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 crash on Sunday after the country suffered its deadliest airplane crash, with 179 people killed when their aircraft went up in flames.
Only two people survived when the Jeju Air Boeing 737-800 plane skidded off the runway and slammed into a wall at Muan International Airport.
In a statement signed by the media aide the lawmaker, Hon. Kolawole described the incident as a devastating tragedy that resonates deeply.
As relatives of those on board gathered at the airport in grief, Reps Kolawole expressed his sympathies to the bereaved families, the injured survivors, and the people of South Korea, and wish those injured a speedy recovery and comfort during this difficult time.
Hon. Kolawole reaffirmed his solidarity with South Korea, He concluded by wishing for the peaceful repose of the departed souls, reaffirming Nigeria’s solidarity with South Korea, expressing hope for continued strength and resilience for the South Korean people in overcoming this tragedy.
