The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Alhaji Shehu Gabam on Monday expressed deep sadness over the demise of former President Mohamadu Buhari saying that his demise was a great loss to the nation but his legacy of service to Nigeria would be remembered for generations to come
In a condolence message made available to news men in Abuja, the SDP National Chairman pointed out that as leader, former President Buhari left an indelible mark on the country’s history which would the difficult to forget in the anal of the country.
According to him, ” this grief moment await all souls and it reminds us that the greatest legacy leaders can leave behind is the service to humanity, a selfless commitment to improving the lives of others, and building a better world for future generations, just as exemplified by the late President Muhammadu Buhari
The statement reads, ” I received the news of the passing of former President
Muhammadu Buhari with profound sadness. His demise is a great loss to the nation, and his legacy of service to Nigeria will be remembered for generations to come. As a leader, he left an indelible mark on the country’s history.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family, particularly Hajiya Aisha Buhari, the former First Lady, the good people of Katsina State, and the entire nation. May Almighty Allah grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
