Falconet coach thumbs up Ibadan fans for their massive support.

Nigeria Falconet coach Moses Adikwu has thumbed up Ibadan fans for acting as a motivator in their four zero batching of their counterpart from Rwanda played on Saturday

The match played at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan was the second leg under 20 FIFA World Cup qualifier

Nigeria will, in their next match, slugg it out with the winner between Algeria and Senegal.

“The fans in Ibadan are the motivating factor, and I told my players that if they want to play,they should play very well so that they won’t disappoint the fans that trooper out in large numbers to cheer them up”,the coach added.

“I can’t wait to come back to Ibadan for this type of reception and support again,they are fantastic host”,Adikwu said.

Nigeria coach observed that the two teams played very well and credited the visitors for playing better than when they first met in Rwanda.

“Rwanda girls surprised me today. They didn’t give up even though they were 3 goals down,they kept on pushing till the blast of the final whistle, ” he stated.

He said he is confident that they can face any team in the qualifications and that they will treat every match with the same zeal as it comes.

The Falconet captain,Joy Igbokwe, at the post-match congress, said she was happy that they plated with determination, strength, and discipline to get the four goals.

She said their coach gave them tactical discipline and trust in their ability to win the match.

The Falconet now has an aggregate of 5-0, having poipped the Rwandan team 1-0 in the earlier away match played days ago.

The Rwanda under 20 coach, Mbungo Casa Andre, during the post-match conference through an interpreter, said his team made individual mistakes, which would be addressed in the future.

He expressed happiness that the ladies’ average age between 15 and 18 have a lot of prospects for the future.

The fans suppprted by a stage musician sang and danced with cheers each time the Nigeria team gets the ball and until the end of the match.
