** Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria, flagged a Rethinking Tourism strategy on Tuesday in lagos, scaling the frontiers of years of neglect of cultural tourism by government and taking charge to birth new pathways. From Takwa Bay Beach to Eko Hotel, where the Federation, honoured lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-0lu, Nura Sani Kangiwa of National Institute For Hospitality and Tourism, and Mrs Margaret fabiyi, founder President of Women in Tourism, ftan convincingly left no one in doubt, that time has come for the private tourism sector to be accorded the true support needed to change the Nigerian tourism narrative.
** Creative Niaja Radio, will unveil a Public Service Certification Award, inaugurated to recognise and document the contributions of Nigerians working silently and behind the scene in all areas of the Creative cultural tourism landscape and also, of strategic enablers, building bridges across multilateral economies, hitherto unknown to be catalyst for national tourism development. Don’t expect big names, surely we shall do justice but our target is to unveil fresh faces, the future drivers of the new Nigeria tourism heritage. It shall be a monthly affair, few faces at time.
