A business man , Mr Christian Nwankwo has expressed concern over his forceful eviction from Wuse Market in the Federal Capital Territory by some police officers.
Mr Nwankwo stated this while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.
He said a case has already been Instituted in court with one Maryam Gidado Idris and the High Court has issued an order that nobody should disturb him in his shop.
“They file a motion to set aside the order and the court later judged that all parties should maintain status quo but to my greatest surprise, my boy called me that police people came from the Force CID telling him to leave the shoo and nobody should come closer to the shop otherwise the person would be a dead person ” Mr Nwankwo explained.
The business man therefore appealed to the necessary authority to come to his aid to get justice on the matter as he has lost money and valuables as a result of the forceful eviction from the shop.
Mr Nwankwo stated that he would follow lawful process and procedures to get justice on the matter.
While expressing concern over the rate of intimidation and oppression by some elite in the country, Mr Nwakwo stressed the need for measures that would protect the vulnerable Nigerians in the country.
He also emphasized the need for security personnel to desist from being used by selfish wealthy Nigerians to intimidate the less privileged ones in the society.
