In line with the commitment of the Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa to uplifting and empowering the women in the state, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Dr Segun Osamaye at the weekend announced some appointments into key positions
In a statement made available to news men on Sunday, Dr Osamaye said that the decision was also in line with the vision of the Governor for the welfare and inclusion of women in the state
She explained that the appointments would also strengthen and enhance the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa vision of delivering dividends of democracy to the people of the state
According to the the statement, the appointments are as follows:
Chief of Staff – Olushola Omoboni
Media Consultant – Prince Segun Adesemoye SA Technical – Miss Akindujoye Janet
SA Domestic – Chief Mrs Sobowale Silifat
SA Photography – Kayode Oluwole
SA Special Duties – Sabiu Garko
Others are Omolara Akinrogbe & Mrs Adedeji Maryam for the North
- Alhaja Sikirat Idera & Wunmi Oguntoye for the Central
- Omotehinse Rosemary & Mrs Toyin Benson for the South

“Omoboni Olusola a former President, Student Union Government of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Prince Segun Adesemoye a celebrated and award winning Media Personality, Miss Akindejuoye Janet a former Vice President, Student Union Government of Adeyemi Federal University of Education while Chief Mrs Kehinde Adeniran i, the Immediate Past Senior Special Assistant on Women Affairs, Dr Funmilola Mabel Ojo , a seasoned educationist and Nurse Aariola Coker a registered Nurse, Morayo Abidemi, a public health awareness expert while Hon Ewatomi Owoeye is a serial entrepreneur and a successful business person..
According to the statement, all the appointments are based on Dr Seun Osamaye’s commitment to promoting gender equality, diversity, and inclusivity in governance, and the success of the lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration.
The statement further explained that O’datiwa Women Initiatives’ Train ” is a program designed to empower and support women throughout the state.
According to it, ” This initiative will provide resources, training, and support to help women thrive in their personal and professional lives. Whether it’s access to education, healthcare, or economic opportunities, Governor Aiyedatiwa is committed to uplifting and empowering the women
