
In a strategic move to strengthen collaboration and unity within Nigeria’s tourism sector, the Vice President South-West of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), Tunde Kolade, paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN), Prince Adetunji Fadina, in Ota today. The visit, which focused on the forthcoming OduFestival 2.0, set for June 2025 in Lagos, underscored the power of synergy in building the nation’s tourism potential.
During the meeting, Prince Adetunji Fadina, a passionate advocate for collective progress in the industry, expressed his unwavering support for the Odu Festival 2.0. In his remarks, the ATPN President emphasized the importance of collaboration across all associations under FTAN, calling for a united front.
“Our industry is richly blessed, but to fully harness its potential, we must work together as a team,” Prince Fadina stated firmly. He urged all stakeholders to rally behind the national body, noting that the era of fragmented efforts is over. “This is the time for a coalition; for every stakeholder to speak with one voice. I pray all associations under FTAN will unite in support of this landmark project.”

The OduFestival, now entering its second edition, promises to be a cultural extravaganza that celebrates the rich heritage of the Yoruba people while positioning Lagos as a key destination for cultural tourism. With a visionary leader like Prince Adetunji Fadina at the helm and the strategic involvement of ATPN, the festival is set to not only boost domestic tourism but also attract global attention.
