The Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, clinched top three positions out of 168 participants who participate at the Public Service Innovation Challenge nationwide.
The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy,Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, expressed satisfaction while presenting the winners with digital tools. He said that the ministry was proud of their acheivement and that “the federal government will continue to support innovation and innovators.
“In addition to the monetary prizes won by the winners, Laptops was presented to them to further encourage and support their drive”.
Pantami said the essence of the
competition was aimed at promoting innovation in the public service.
The beneficiaries include:
Sogunro Oyindamola and Iliya Abdurrahman who won the first prize for developing a software solution that provides a reliable platform for organisation, Oluwaseun Winsala and Francis Ebire came in second place with their Digital ID Wallet Blockchain solution, while Zainab Saka and Tolulope Ibitoye came third with an effective reward system for civil servants.
“The maiden edition of the competition organised by the Office of the Head of Service of the federation also saw the Ministry carting away the fourth and fifth positions at the competition”.
