Royal Father’s Commends FG For Sponsoring eGovernance Training For Council Staff

The Director if the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, Alh. Kassim Nmayawa has commended the Federal Government for sponsoring training of eGovetbance For Staff of the council.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the occasion held at the Council Board Rooming Abuja, the director also commended the minister of Communication and Digital Economy and executed by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami for facilitating the training for the council.

According to him, “The eGovernance training is very apt and vital to the members of Staff as t will sharpen our knowledge of Digital Technologies for virtual engagement and other socal medial initiatives”.

The director also noted that this training is the first of its kind in the history of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria and will remain evergreen in the minds of all the participants.

” I want to use this medium on behalf of our Traditional Rulers all over Nigeria and the members of Staff of the Council to appreciate the Chairman, Coordinating Committee, Alh. (Dr.) Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, Etsu Nupe, the Chairman and Co Chairman of the National Council and the Coordinators for their untiring efforts towards Staff welfare and development”, he added.

He stated, ” We are also appreciative of our facilitator who is also the Honourable Minister for Communication and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami and the DirectorGeneral of NITDA for this wonderful opportunity. We are thankful that they found the Council members and Staff worthy of this egovemance training and for providing the Council with a donation of thirty (30) Laptop Computer which will enable members of Staff to practice what would be learnt in this training”.

He however, appealed to the minister that like Oliver Twist, we want to plead that this same attention would be extended to the Council when next we request for the assistance of the Honorable  Minister.
