The Olu Akinfosile Students’ Relaxation Centre was commissioned by His Excellency, Gov Rotimi Akeredolu on Tuesday 8th March 2022 at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa.
As seen on the plaque, this is a contribution by three selfless illustrious sons of Ikaleland:
- Hon. Justice Ademola Enikuomehin
- Pastor Jeremiah Akinsele and
- Prof Olukoya Ogen.
They did not name the building after themselves but recognised the good name left behind by Papa Olu Akinfosile. None of them ever met him during his lifetime. They are not even blood related or town related to him. They are not politicians looking for votes. All they want is the glory of Ikaleland.
The name Olu Akinfosile will forever be a household name in that University.
