** November 7 to 13 has been confirmed as official dates for Nigeria’s iconic Festival, National Festival for Arts and Culture to be held in lagos, and dubbed Eko Nafest.

** The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says that Lagos state has recorded 17 monkey pox cases and 1 death. It has earlier warned of the rising cases of COVID 19 in its 5th wave ravaging through the city of Lagos. ** Nigeria is expected to put up a strong cultural display as Jamaica marks her 60th anniversary which runs from July 31st to August 7th this year. Nigeria is expected to showcase her culture in drama, poems and dance.
