Rt. Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, a leading aspirant for the Speaker of the 10th Assembly, Federal House of Representatives, is a man gifted with godly wisdom, impeccable character and astuteness. His modest personality and humility stand him out among nobles.
Born into the family of Late Alh. Sani Jaji and Hajiya Rabi’atu Sani Jaji over four decades ago in Birnin Magaji Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji began his early education in Birnin Magaji Model Primary School between 1987-1992. He thereafter proceeded to the Government Secondary School, Kaura Namoda in 1992, where he obtained his West African School Certificate ( WASC) in 1998.
His quest for higher education took him to the famous Sultan Abdulrahman School of Health Technology, Gwadabawa, where he obtained Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Community Health. He later returned to the same institution some years after for his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Microbiology/Virology and subsequently a National Certificate on Community Health Extension Work.
Not yet done with educational pursuits, this contemporary political juggernaut from the Northwestern part of the country again sought and got admission into the prestigious Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Bauchi, (ATBU) in 2004 for his Bachelor of Science, (BSC) Degree in Microbiology.
Upon graduation in 2000, Rt Hon. Jaji again enrolled for a Postgraduate Diploma, (PGD) in Public Health at the Same ABTU in 2013. He also holds four masters degrees from the following prime universities, Bayero University, (BUK) Kano ( MSC Health Economics 2013), Maryam Abacha American University, (MAAU) Niger, (MSC Public Health) 2017 and Bayero University Kano, (BUK), (MSC Environmental Management 2017) and again Ahmadu Bello University, (ABU) Zaria, (MSC Criminal Law).
He is currently on his dissertation for his Doctorate Degree in Philosophy at Walden University, America.
With these reach and enviable academic profile, Rt. Hon. Jaji is indeed eminently equipped to lead the 10th House of Representatives, which kicks off in June 2023.
Prior to his entry into politics, Rt. Hon. Jaji had a stint with the Birnin Magaji Local Government as Health Assistant, Primary Healthcare Department between 1998 and 2000.
Rt. Hon. Jaji’s ingress into politics began in 2008 when he was elected Chairman of the All Nigerian Peoples Party, ( ANPP) Birnin Magaji Local Government Chairman of Zamfara State. defunct All Nigerian People’s Party, (ANPP) in 2008 and in 2012, he was subsequently elect the Executive Chairman of the same local government under the umbrella of ANPP and her served in that capacity till 2015..
Rt. Hon. Jaji’s election into the office of the Executive Chairman of Birnin Magaji Local Government marked the turning point. He served concurrently as the Secretary of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ( ALGON), Zamfara State Chapter during his tenure as the Executive Chairman of Birnin Magaji Local Government Area.
His tenure as the Executive Chairman of the Birnin Magaji witnessed tremendous transformation Of the local government in several areas. Rt. Hon. Magaji’s outstanding performance as the Executive Chairman of the local government endeared him to his people who compelled him to served them in a higher capacity.
This acclamation resulted in his election into the Federal House of Representatives in 2015 to represent the good people of Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal constituency of Zamfara State in the Green Chambers on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
Rt. Hon. Jaji during his tenure in 8th Assembly, (2015-2019) apart from providing effective representation for his constituents was also nationalistic in views and contributions in the House of Representatives both at the plenary and at the committee level.
He sponsored very crucial Bills and motions throughout the time. Some of the important Bills and motions he proposed include;

Some his essential motions are as follows
1) Urgent Need for the Federal Government to address the Devastating Gully Erosion in some communities in Kaura-Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency and (2) Need to Address security breakdown, the killing of 36 police officers and incessant killings in zamfara state among several other motions.
Rt. Hon. Jaji An Embodiment Of Humanitarianism
Rt Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, the House of Representatives’ member-elect for the 10th Assembly, is indeed a man of many sided abilities. He is a politician with a difference. He is practically an epitome of politics without rancour. His deeds of charity also set him apart as an embodiment of humanitarianism.
He inclines himself to the promotion of human welfare and social reforms marked by humanistic values and human welfare.
Rt. Hon. Jaji is elected to represent the people of Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency of Zamfara State in the North-west Nigeria for the 10th Assembly.
Rt Hon. Jaji who is currently running for the office of The Speaker in the 10th Assembly is no doubt a humanist. He believes in building a more humane, just, compassionate society and well-being all.
All these attributes are symbised in his life, touching philosophic programmes he carries out across religious and ethnic divides. The most prominent of his philanthropic initiatives is Baba For All which he effectively used in reaching out to the downtrodden and people in distress in all the thirty-six states and Abuja, giving them succour and hope by supplying them with life essentials.This particularly stood him out as part of the campaign team of the APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu where he eminently served as the Director of Contact and Mobilization(North West)
According to Hon. Jaji, the objective of Baba for All is to give hope to people who are displaced, especially those Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who have become refuges in their own country.
These activities are carried out, especially during festive periods like Ramadan and Christmas, during which rallies are organised and people are feted in hundreds of thousands. People Living With Disabilities (PLWD) are not left out in the philanthropic gestures of the Baba for All initiative as the group also shares wheelchairs and other aids to this vulnerable group.
It also engages in intervention programmes aimed at sustaining and revitalising the lives of youth and women, especially widows and single mothers.
During such interventions, Baba For All usually support beneficiaries with cash grants to help them start their own business and live meaningful lives.
In 2021 alone, the Baba for All distributed over 500 trucks of assorted foodstuffs, including grains such as rice, millet, guinea corn, maize, etc. It has so far distributed 700 trucks of assorted foodstuffs this year with more to come in the years ahead.
Jaji in the run-up to the 2023 general elections, donated several vehicles, motorcycles, and other empowerment equipment to various support groups of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to boost the party’s campaign.
Honourable Jaji comes into the race for the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives with the pledge to run an inclusive House where unity and national interest will be the pivotal to his leadership.
As someone who came from a noble background and coupled with his love for humanity, Jaji is interested in raising the bar of legislative leadership in the country with the sole aim of improving the lot of Nigerian people.
His vision is to ensure an abiding cooperation among Honourable Members and chart a mutually respectful relationship with the Executive without compromising the independence of the Legislature.
His leadership, according to him, will be strictly anchored on the Rule of Law and global best democratic practices.
Rt. Hon. Jaji’s entry into the House Speakership race of the 10th Assembly has ignited wide excitements among aides and permanent staff of the National Assembly because of his antecedents in the 8th Assembly.
They describe him as a good-hearted man and one of the legislators who fought for the welfare of aides and staff at the time.
