The President – elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is going to hit the ground running in his youth employment programme as one of the groups that supported his candidacy has perfected a 12 months programme to get a good percentage of youths off the unemployment market.
The group, Friends of Jagaban Initiative, in a letter dated 11th April,2023 signed by Engr. AGF Abdul(National Co-ordinator),Mr. Babalola Abiodun Sodiq Esq(National Legal Adviser/Secretary) and Amb. Hassan Nika Ardo(Patron) requested for a date to brief the President – elect on the Group’s plan and how it could be integrated into the incoming administration’s larger programme.
They said:”Our Group has developed a comprehensive proposal on “Young CEO”, an initiative targeted at empowering corps members who are driven by entrepreneurship and business.
” The programme also aims at equipping them to operate at the formal enterprise sector and provide a 12 months incubation period for them under the nursery of our professionals”, they stressed
According to them, Friends of Jagaban Initiative is an APC’ Support Group with Core mandate of mobilizing for and supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election.
