The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, has expressed sadness over the passing of a member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Madami Garba Madami.
Madami, who was elected to represent Chikun Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, passed away on Saturday.
in a statement signed by Musa Abdullahi Krishi, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria stated that the seaker Abbas received the news of late Hon. Madami’s demise with shock, noting that the late lawmaker died at a time his services to his constituents and Kaduna State were needed.
The Speaker sent his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late lawmaker, the people and government of Kaduna State, especially the people of Chikun, over the loss.
While praying God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss, Speaker Abbas prayed for a peaceful resting place for late Hon. Madami.
