CG NHFSS Felicitates With Nigerians On 63rd Ind. Anniversary

The Commandant General of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and entire Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s 63rd Independence Anniversary of the country.

In a congratulatory message in Abuja, Ambassador Osatimehin said although, Nigeria may be passing through some challenges at the moment, the country still have reasons to thank God for its continuos corporate existence.

He noted that with persistent prayers and collective support of all stakeholders most especially the political class, the country would soon overcome its challenges and take its rightful place among comity of Nations.

According to him, other great country of the word passed through similar challenges before getting to where they are today.

The Commander General who commended President Bola Tinubu for making the celebration a low key stated that the move indicate that the President is aware of the plights of the people and would do his best to take the country out of the current situation.

Ambassador Osatimehin therefore advised President Bola Tinubu not to relent in delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians in line with his Renewed Hope agenda for the country.

He explained that NHFSS has deployed its officer’s and men to compliment the efforts of formal security agencies nationwide on protecting lives and property of Nigerians before, during and after the Independence celebration most especially at the grassroots.

He reiterated the commitment of NHFSS towards supporting all security efforts of President Bola Tinubu’s led administration in combating banditry, kidnapping, boko haram, terrorism and other forms of criminality in the country.

The Commander General warned officers and men of the Service against act detrimental to the aims and objectives of NHFSS in all their conduct.

Ambassador Osatimehin therefore used the opportunity to call for constitutional recognition of NHFSS through the signing of its Bill into law by President Bola Tinubu to give legal backing and improve irs operation nationwide
