He saw tomorrow and insisted that our cultural offerings are all we need to break into the global tourism market. Olusegun Runsewe, immediate former Director General of National Council for Arts and Culture ( NCAC) was unapologetic in his cultural revival submissions and he was frontly attacked by most of his enemies who alleged that Runsewe was rude to the president for creating the ministries of culture and tourism, simply because Runsewe advocated for the right to be done and it is done today by the president.
fortunately, the president knew the truth and today revised the step, a bold effort by a leader who listens, the man of the people.
In the past one we year, we campaigned and, through several commentaries, revealed that the two beautiful ladies appointed by the president to supervise the two ministries are surplus to requirement.
Lola Ade John and Hannatu Musa Musawa failed on all performance metrics, and the result is here for all to see. I won’t bother wasting time writing about failures, but to thank Mr. President for doing the needful. The only challenge before Mr. President now is who will run the remerged ministry.
Runsewe saw it coming, and it is here. This man deserves the opportunity to restore our cultural tourism narratives. The president doesn’t need to look far.
The times are hard, and we need the men and women who can fetch water from a well guided by enemies. What will the president do for us in the culture and tourism space? We wait patiently.
Bye, Bye, Lola Ade John and Hannatu Musa Musawa. See you at oyingbo Market.
