Dambe wasn’t the only highlight of Day 4 at NAFEST 2024! Representatives from different states also came together for the Archery and Ayo Games, two activities deeply rooted in Nigeria’s cultural heritage.
Archery, once a skill essential to traditional hunting, has evolved into a modern sport, while Ayo, a traditional mancala game indigenous to the Yoruba people, continues to connect generations through strategy and fun.
These are the moments that define our stories. It was a true celebration of our culture, blending history, skill, and community.
