Farmers in Taraba Central Senatorial District have every reason to smile as Senator Manu Haruna distributes 2,000 bags of fertilisers across the District to enhance agricultural activities.
This move is aimed at promoting agriculture and ensuring food security in the state.
The distribution event, which took place on Wednesday at Senator Manu’s residence in Jalingo, Taraba State’s capital, was led by the Director of Senator Manu’s Campaign, Rt. Hon. Simon Dogari.
The fertilizers, consisting of NPK, were provided by Senator Manu Haruna as part of a broader initiative to support farmers in Taraba Central.
The beneficiaries, including representatives from the five local Government Areas of Taraba Central, Sardauna, Gashaka, Kurmi, Gassol and Bali LGAs, expressed their gratitude for the support.
Alhaji Sha’ibu Kurmi, speaking on behalf of the Kurmi LGA beneficiaries, assured that the farmers would make the best of the fertilizers.
Similarly, Hon. Bala Baba, representing the Bali people, praised Senator Manu for his commitment to his constituents and urged other political representatives to follow his exemplary leadership.
This distribution reflects Senator Manu’s continued dedication to improving the lives of the people in his senatorial district, particularly by enhancing agricultural productivity.
