NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR MUSEUMS, MONUMENTS CELEBRATES 2021 INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY

The National Commission for Museums and Monuments today Tuesday 15th of June 2021, celebrates the year 2021 International Museum day.

In a statement signed by the Head, Public Relation Unit of the Commission, Dapo Sijuade stated that this event which was earlier scheduled for 18th May was postponed and rescheduled due to the re-introduced phase IV Covid 19 restrictions at the time, which limited the number of persons in public gatherings across the 36 states and the FCT.

High points of today’s events include, a Public Lecture, Cultural performances, A book Presentation/Launching and presentation of Cultural Ambassador Awards to Eleven deserving Nigerians from various walks of life.

The event which holds at Rockview Hotel Royal, Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja at 10.00 am prompt is expected to be attended by Top Dignitaries, Government Officials, Traditional Rulers, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Culture Enthusiasts and Members of the Media.
