The purported letter from the officer of the secretary to the federal government frog jumping Phillip Egga Maga above others as acting placement for the office of chief executive of federal government funded tourism education training school, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism ( NIHOTOUR) is seen by many insiders of the civil service administrative ecosystem as strange and benubbing.
Many top serving and retired civil servants who would not want their names in print disclosed that the process is suspicious and belittling of the prestigious office of SGF, which was alleged by maga and his cronies to had given the strange nod to the 39th wonder of the world.
One of the retired directors who also had a stint in the school outrightly noted that there’s no way the office of the SGF can dabble into a mere administrative issue in the school, adding the mere fact that the process is very elementary even to a rookie level six officer in the civil service, the so called letter authorising maga to head nihotour in acting capacity may be fake.
” Yes , it may be fake, and in first place, where is the letter? Who signed and on what grounds? When a serving director general tenure expires or is removed by government, the next senior officer in the nominal roll, even if he is in seberia recalled to head the office until a substantive chief executive is appointed. So let maga show us this letter or circular from the office of the SGF directing him to supplant the most senior officer in Nihotour.
He added proverbially. ” If we tell a thief to catch a chicken, he says it will bite him. This smacked of one pretending to be right or have a legal backing when, in actual fact, an offence is being committed. This is Nigeria, though, where anything can happen, and we all keep quiet, it doesn’t concern us.
A former experienced director general told me that the maga sage is unfortunate and laborious
” How can it be? The former DG queried, adding the process is for the human resources director in nihotour to handle. It shouldn’t become an issue at all because the extant administrative ecosystem expects the Human Resources Director to generate a memo to the next senior officer on the nominal roll, and that settles it. To add to the mystery of organised muddled and controversial administrative misadventure in nihotour, two out station officers were redeployed two weeks before the expiration of the tenure of outgone chief executive, a highwire conspiratorial game, which deliberately left Dr Tijani Nasiru Olawale out in the cold in oshogbo to which is being used to justify the strange narratives that officers are even senior on the nominal roll but outside the Abuja head office, shall not assume the acting capacity in place of the waiting gap before a substantive chief executive is appointed.
We understand from very reliable industry sources in the know of how the coup was perfected by the former Director General in active conniviance with maga who was the then special duties director before his purported elevation.
” Two staff from the kano campus were hurriedly summoned to Abuja, namely Dr Abba shehu and one Andrew to take up the positions of the school Registerar and Human Resources Directorate two weeks before the end of the tenure of the former headmaster, a grand plan which ignored those who well qualified in the Abuja office ” one of source informed.
From the revelation, it is clear that it was a clandestine strategy to leave our Dr Tijani Nasiru Olawale out in the cold in oshogbo, osun state, to help embellish the narratives that he cannot take up the acting position in nihotour since, the there were signals that government will not reappoint the former Director General at the expiration of his tenure.

He is a threat to the small gang of yes men and bootlickers in nihotour whose stock in trade is generating bitterness and all kinds of tribal subterfuge to run out their victims out of system or their official positions. They are the mafia sourcing zonal intervention projects not specific to requirements of tourism education expectations in nihotour, ” the source further alledged.
