Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, has condoled with Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State over the death of his mother, Hajia Hauwau Bello who died on Sunday at the age of 101 after a brief illness.
In a condolence message issued on Monday in Abuja by the chief Press Secretary, Umar Muhammad Puma, Wase described the demise of Hajia Hauwa as a great loss not only to the people of Kogi State but the country at large.
“I express my heartfelt deepest sympathy to the Governor, government and the good people of Kogi state over this irreparable loss,” he said.
“I pray to Almighty Allah to give them the family and the good people of Kogi the fortitude to bear the loss.”
The Deputy Speaker while praying to Almighty Allah to grant her Al-jannatul Firdaus, tasked the people of the state to sustain and build on Mama’s enduring legacies.
