Reps Deputy Speaker hails Dangote at 63

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase has felicitated with the foremost industrialist and a philanthropist, Alh. Aliko Dangote as he clocks 63.

In a statement issued by his chief Press Secretary, Umar Muhammad Puma, the Deputy Speaker described Dangote as an icon who have contributed immensely to the development of the economy and the country at large.

“Your simplicity, selflessness and philanthropy, particularly your generous contribution to the Internally Displays Persons (IDPs), fight against polio, Ebola and coronavirus as well as the socio-economic advancement of Nigeria are uncommon”, he stated.

Wase noted that Dangote’s investment in different sectors of the nations economy has greatly helped the nation adding that the industrialists “has become a sign post for other local investors”

He particularly praised the richest man in Aftica over his vision to build a refinery in Lagos, which he said would contribute immensely in resolving some of the problems faced by the nation in the refining and distribution of petroleum products.

“Your decision to build a petroleum refinery here Nigeria(Lagos) would certainly assist the government in her efforts to encourage local production and resolve some of the perennial problems affecting the oil industry”

The Deputy Speaker prayed to Almighty Allah to protect, preserve and grant him many more fruitful years of selfless and meritorious service to the nation.

“May the Almighty strengthen and grant you good health to enjoy many more productive time years of life, so that you an continue to contribute to the development of manking generally”
