Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya was on Saturday in Katsina state, where he paid a condolence visit to renowned business mogul and owner of Max Air company, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Murja Bara’u, who passed away recently at the age of 85 years.
The Gombe Governor was received by his Katsina State counterpart, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari alongside the chief mourner, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal.
According to a Press release issued by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director General(Press Affairs),
Government House, Gombe, Governor Inuwa described the death of Hajiya Murja as a great loss, not only to her family but the community as a whole.
He also described her as an exemplary mother and family pillar, who lived a fruitful life and impacted positively on the lives of her children and many members of the community, saying “indeed we have lost a mother whose elderly and motherly counsel will be sorely missed by not only the family members but the entire community”.
Governor Yahaya, on behalf of government and people of Gombe State, conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Mangal and members of his family as well as the Government and people of Katsina state over the great loss, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased octogenarian Aljannat Firdaus.
The Governor was accompanied by member representing Akko Federal Constituency, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo, APC chieftain, Alhaji Abubakar Muazu ( Yariman Kashere), Alhaji Mala Sheriff and Special Adviser, Abuja Liaison, Hon. Usman Aliyu Garry.
