…Ensure you vote Buhari govt in 2023
The House of Representatives Peoples Democratic Party, PDP caucus in its Easter greetings has pleaded with Nigerians not to despair despite unabated insecurity, killings, kidnappings but to remain firm and ensure the President Muhammadu Buhari’s clueless government is voted out in 2023.
The caucus in a statement signed by its leader, Rep Kingsley Chinda stated that:
“Equally of concern to us is the need for all of us not to give up our hopes for a better Nigeria, but to remain firm, resolute and even more determined.
“Of particular interest to us is the fact that as we prepare for and look forward to the 2023 General elections, we are once again presented with an opportunity to exercise our franchise and ensure that we vote out an obviously failed, clueless and inept All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government that has continued to steal and cut short the hopes and aspirations of teeming Nigerian masses.
” A government that pays 4 Trillion as subsidy on petroleum over and above the recovered CIT and VAT (1.896Trillion as Company Income Tax and 2.07 Trillion as Value Added Tax).
“A country where ASUU has been on strike now for over 55days asking for a balance N110bn from a 2009 agreement for an initially agreed N220bn to carry out researches yet this government is spending a whopping N144bn annually on imaginary feeding of school children.
“We beg to ask a question, is Nigeria a zoo or a country, how do one justify spending N12bn monthly on children school feeding without statistics while tertiary institutions are shut down?
“Clearly, we are a resilient people, thus, we remain very confident and hopeful that God is on our side and with us playing our individual and collective parts, we shall triumph in the end and once again restore our dignity and pride as a people.

For ourselves, our families and constituents, we join well meaning Nigerians to felicitate with Christian faithfuls across the globe, particularly those in Nigeria, on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations.
As a caucus, we most heartily rejoice with our Christian brethren and urge them to use the occasion of Easter to continue to demonstrate the spirit of sacrifice, tolerance, love for one another and peaceful coexistence with others – qualities which Jesus Christ represents, died for and resurrected for the redemption of mankind.
For our Muslim faithfuls, as your fasting progresses, may the Almighty Allah accept your sacrifice and answer your solicitations as you sincerly yearn for a safer and better Nigeria.
We also wish to urge that this Easter will further afford our Christian brethren the opportunity to continue to pray for the unity, peace and progress of our dear country, Nigeria, particularly in view of the numerous economic and security challenges confronting us as a people, including the unabated killings, kidnappings and general insecurity sweeping across the county, coupled with the seemingly divisive tendencies occasioned by invidious governmental policies, actions and/or inactions.
Equally of concern to us is the need for all of us not to give up our hopes for a better Nigeria, but to remain firm, resolute and even more determined. Of particular interest to us is the fact that as we prepare for and look forward to the 2023 General elections, we are once again presented with an opportunity to exercise our franchise and ensure that we vote out an obviously failed, clueless and inept All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government that has continued to steal and cut short the hopes and aspirations of teeming Nigerian masses.

Once again, congratulations and happy Easter celebrations to our Christian brethren.
