***Nigeria’s lowland forest ecosystem, home to white throated monkeys, Okomu National Park and its adjacent forest reserves, has been signed out by Edo state governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki as no go areas for illegal logging and hunting activities. The governor told over support forty communities , particularly Inikurugha stakeholders to desist from illegal logging, noting that Okomu is very precious and rare as home to white throated monkeys and other flora resources desirable to future human development. Governor Godwin obaseki further stated tha global warming and environmental conservation, are top discussion all over the world, hence Okomu stakeholders should consider the prioritisation of the protection and preservation of this unique area, devoid of illegal activities that may threaten the green biosphere space.
Nigeria’s non interest bearing bank, Jass Bank, has moved into its house, at JS Tarka Street , Area 3, Abuja. The bank says the new office, will provide it more visibility and capacity to deliver services to its clients. Jass Bank began operations in kaduna ten years ago, and to have about 46 branches in Nigeria.
