Mr Damilola Emmanuel, 2024 Shipping World magazine Awardee, received his official notification letter yesterday in lagos.
Elder Asu Beks who led some members of organising the committee of the Maritime industry iconic diadem instituted over twenty years ago to drive industry best practices and excellence, informed the recipient that his choice for the Award is in recognition of his resilience and dedication to transforming a once set back organisation into an enviable and exemplary brown water regulator and service provider.
Mr Emmanuel said he is pleasantly surprised by the recognition, dedicating the Award to the governor of lagos State, Babajide sanwo-0lu, and his staff at Laswa.

Other members of the organising committee on entourage of Elder Asu Beks are Mr Frank Meke , innocent Orok, and the president of Wabotan, Mr Tope Fajemirokun. The Maritime Media Ltd Award comes up on the 15th of April, 2025, at the prestigious Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
