Honorable Akinlayo kolawole representing Moba/ido/OSI ilejemeje Federal Constituency of Ekiti State who sponsored the groundbreaking Bill seeking to establish the Federal College of Agriculture in Otun Ekiti and College of Nursing and Midwifery in Ikosu Ekiti, these towns are situated within Moba Local Government of Ekiti State.
What makes this initiative particularly noteworthy is that Ekiti North Federal Constituency (II) is currently the only constituency in Ekiti State lacking a higher education institution.
By proposing the creation of the two tertiary institutions, Honorable Akinlayo aims to fill this educational void.

while introducing the bill, the Lawmaker from Ekiti State explained that people in the area are lacking federal presence in the area of education hence the need to urgently pass the bill so that the can start enjoying the dividends of democracy.
According to him, personnel are lacking in the area of primary health care therefore, there is need to train and retrain the people so that they could provide quality health care to the people.
in view of this, the Lawmaker appealed to his colleagues to pass the bill so that federal government could establish the two institutions in the areas.
